“Rich T Manga Academy” is the trading name of Richard Trautmann, operating as a sole trader.

These terms and conditions will refer to the bill payer as ‘Client’ and to the attendee as ‘Participant’.

Payment is taken using either a debit card, credit card, or through the Client’s Paypal account. In making a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Payment is taken in advance of classes. Payment and booking confirmation is sent via email.

Responsibility for all booking details lies with the Client. Please check the location, date and time of the session before making your booking. If a booking has been made in error, please contact us within 3 calendar days of making the booking, and we shall amend your booking free of charge, or you can request a full refund. After this time normal cancellation terms apply.

Venues must be booked ahead of time, and as such we are unable to provide a refund less than 7 full calendar days before the day of the session. If a cancellation is made more than 7 full calendar days before the session, payment will be refunded in full if a participant is unable to attend.

If for whatever reason a session has to be cancelled, another will be provided for all scheduled participants free of charge. Alternatively, the client can have their payment refunded if they so choose.

In the interests of safeguarding, we ask to be informed of all potential absences and delays ahead of time.

We reserve the right to ask for payment for the loss or damage of any items such as drawing materials and books that are provided for the participants’ use. Payment is informed by the cost of replacing any items which are lost or significantly damaged.

All artwork created during a session remains the intellectual property of the participant who created it.

Photography of sessions may be taken for the purposes of promotion and marketing. Where possible, children will not be identifiable in photographs. If a child is identifiable in a photograph, express permission from the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the child will be sought before use in promotional or marketing materials. Any photograph can be requested to be deleted by either the child or their parent / guardian.

We reserve the right to exclude any participant from our sessions for any reason. We hold a zero-tolerance stance on bullying, intimidation, acts of aggression, physical and emotional abuse, and theft. In the instance of any of the above, exclusion will be at our sole discretion. In the event that a participant is excluded from attending sessions, a refund will be issued for all sessions booked outside of the next 7 calendar days. Furthermore, we also reserve the right to exclude a participant if a child is persistently picked up more than 15 minutes late from attending further sessions.

Unless agreed ahead of time, we reserve the right to refuse sessions to participants with additional needs, whether physical, psychological or behavioural. Where we use our discretion to refuse a session because we are unable to meet the needs of an individual participant, a refund will be offered in full.

Please inform us of all additional medical needs of the participant ahead of time. Whilst a first aider is always present at every session, we are unable to take responsibility for the specific medical care of any participant. We do not accept liability for the injury, death, damage or loss of property.

We are obliged by safeguarding laws in the UK to inform the local authority or the police if a participant is believed to be suffering from physical or emotional abuse or neglect. This includes information taken from a direct disclosure from a participant, as well as observations made of their appearance or emotional or physical wellbeing.

We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants attending our sessions - however in the event that a complaint is made, we ask that it is sent directly to our contact email address, which can be found on the ‘contact’ section of our website, and we shall do our very best to resolve any issues. We aim to respond to all emails within 7 calendar days.
