Hello! My name is Rich T and I could be your new manga tutor!

I started drawing my own characters and comics when I was around 13 and haven’t stopped since! I started Rich T Manga Academy as a way of helping aspiring artists of all ages access knowledge and techniques that could otherwise take years to learn drawing solo - in doing this I hope to give my students the tools and skills they need to build a lifetime hobby - or even a career!

Rich T Manga Academy came to life in 2020, and ever since then I have taught students of all ages and abilities, all over the country. I have taught extensively in students’ homes, in schools, colleges, libraries, at corporate events, art festivals, and comic conventions.

When I’m not teaching manga, I’m drawing it! You can find me during convention season selling prints, stickers and t-shirts of my drawings at major UK conventions such as MCM ComicCon and Hyper Japan. Here’s one of my recent prints!

For the safety of my students, I have recent certificates for First Aid and Safeguarding. I also have a full and current enhanced DBS check.
